Information the app collects

Munady does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or other personal identifier, and it does not require an account.

Local data

The app may store notification settings, sound choices, prayer-time adjustments, calculated prayer data, and display preferences on your device. This information is not sent to an app-operated server.

Location use

Munady requests access to the device location while the app is in use to:

• Calculate prayer times using the Umm al-Qura method.
• Determine Qibla direction and the approximate distance to the Kaaba.
• Display the city name or the user's approximate location.

Core calculations take place on the device. Munady does not use location for advertising or tracking and does not send it to an app-operated server.

Local notifications

Notification permission is used to deliver local prayer-time alerts based on the prayers and sounds you select. You can disable individual alerts in the app or turn off notifications in your device settings.

Home Screen widget

The app shares calculated prayer times and the next prayer with the Munady widget through local shared storage provided by the operating system. This data remains on the device and is used only to display the widget.

Third-party services and analytics

Munady does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services. The operating system may provide the location and notification services required for features requested by the user; those services are governed by device settings and the system provider's policies.

Data retention and deletion

App settings and prayer-time data remain stored locally while the app is installed. You can remove them by deleting the app from your device or by resetting available settings within the app.

Children's privacy

The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal data from children or other users because it contains no accounts or personal-information collection forms.
